How to Do More In Less Time
Who doesn’t want to do more in less time?
You get funded more and promoted faster. You learn more. You get more leisure time.
I don’t know about you, but I’m lazy and full of excuses. So learning from a 2011 New York Times article, What’s the Single Best Exercise?, that fitness experts suggested the burpee as a candidate for the single best exercise revolutionized my life—in particular, it saved me more time than almost anything.
This post may seem like it’s about exercise. It mostly is, but if you have a minimum level of fitness, then it’s a part of your life that will never go away.
Of everything you could work on, physical fitness gives you the most leverage, arguably. It saves time and money with doctors, sick days, and other productivity losses. Research showing that exercise reduces depression as well as medicine reinforces to me that it has the best chance of motivating you to do more in less time.
