Announcing , a new podcast in the growing family from Leadership and the Environment, Conversazioni Sostenibili (Sustainable Conversations), hot on the heels of Leadership and the Environment: Sweden and This Sustainable Life: Untethered. The new one is hosted by Nicola Pirulli, based in Turin. Here is his description of the podcast:

Conversazioni Sostenibili è un podcast con un’ambizione: ispirare chi ascolta.

Come? Incontrando persone comuni e fuori dal comune che raccontano con leggerezza e passione successi, sconfitte, sfide e la loro idea di ambiente. E provano, nel tempo di una chiacchierata, a trasformare le parole in azioni per sostenere lo straordinario pianeta che abitiamo. Ci riusciranno?

Forse, ma quel che conta è mettersi in gioco perché ogni piccolo cambiamento farà nascere connessione, gioia, consapevolezza, senso.

Why a family of podcasts?

Conversazioni Sostenibili is part of a growing family that started with Leadership and the Environment.

We want to act sustainably, just rarely first—that is, we crave leadership. With nearly 8 billion people, one podcast can’t reach everyone. I train people who want to lead their communities in the style of my podcast. Andreas and Alison started offshoots in Stockholm and Lancaster for the Swedish and UK communities. I’m not Swedish or British so they’re reaching and leading new audiences.

Nicola is now reaching another new audience, learning from them and helping them to enjoy living sustainably, what I hear virtually no one else sharing, because they don’t practice it themselves.

The first episode

Sara Abram è storica dell’arte e segretario generale del Centro di Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale”. Da qui passano tanti capolavori che necessitano di cure, ma il restauro è solo una delle attività. Formazione, ricerca, progetti internazionali (come quello al Santo Sepolcro) proiettano questo polo di eccellenza e i suoi interpreti nel futuro, anche grazie allo Young Professionals Forum: centinaia di ragazzi e ragazze con una visione, che hanno creato una comunità e che non temono di fare le cose in modo nuovo.
