Josh here. As I’m writing, I’m about a year into leading people to act on their environmental values, something I see nearly no one doing.
I had no idea the idea would catch on—to world-renowned influencers choosing to make themselves publicly accountable for what our old belief systems saw as deprivation and sacrifice…
but that we call joy and I call delicious!
Still, a few famous people isn’t the billions we want to lead to share the joys of and rewards of
- Enough instead of growth at any cost
- Empathy and compassion over I want it and you can’t stop me
- Clean air and water and abundant wildlife
I keep costs modest, but marketing, equipment, editing, web development, and so on take money and time. Your donations will help spread the message to bring increasingly influential guests and reach more audiences.

Your financial support will enable new
- Guests, to bring the message to new communities. Guests of more diverse backgrounds reach more people and communities. We all breathe the same air and drink the same water.
- Marketing. People can’t join what they don’t know about. Marketing will help more people hear stories of people changing their behavior to help the environment and love the changes.
- Programs. A major goal is to create leaders. I’m happy for people to follow, but reaching billions means other leaders to bring environmental leadership to new communities, schools, countries, and so on.
Please act before donating
The world is filled with people telling others to change without themselves changing first.
I think telling others to do what you don’t discourages action. It supports the old system’s beliefs that protecting the environment means deprivation and sacrifice.
The world is also filled with people stopping at “awareness” or “education” without changing behavior.
The environment doesn’t react to our awareness or knowledge. It reacts to our behavior.
We will only accept funds from people who have acted on personal challenges themselves to act on their environmental values. If you haven’t taken on a personal challenge, please commit to one at https://joshuaspodek.com/sign-up .
You’ll be glad you did. Living by your values is its own reward, even if you have to struggle. Especially if you have to struggle. That’s what makes you a leader in this movement.
Consider leading
Do you know communities my guests don’t reach?
You can do something about it. Consider:
- Introducing me to guests who would
- Suggesting new guests
- Bringing the message to them yourself
Please take the lead. We’re looking to help people improve their lives by acting on their environmental values. Who doesn’t want a better life?
