David Biello is the author of The Unnatural World: The Race to Remake Civilization in Earth’s Newest Age. He has covered energy and the environment for more than a decade and is the science curator for TED as well as a contributing editor for Scientific American.

He has hosted the 60-Second Earth podcast, contributed to the Instant Egghead video series and written a children’s book on bullet trains.

He has also written for publications ranging from the L.A. Review of Books to Yale e360, and has spoken and appeared on shows for PBS, WNYC, and more.
