I know this should be obvious and it probably is. I still find it hard to implement and have to relearn it all the time. But when I get it, it makes life relaxing and easier.
How to sleep in without sleeping late: Go to sleep earlier.
There are two ways to sleep as much as you want.
- You can sleep later in the morning
- You can go to sleep earlier the evening before
I like to get up the same time every day. I can still sleep in. I turn in earlier the night before. Neither option gives me more or less sleep. One way keeps my schedule.
If you’re willing to sacrifice on sleep, you can sleep less, but I don’t find it improves my life.
In practice I’m less consistent sleeping early than with my sidchas.
