I appeared on a second time, which I’ll post about tomorrow (here’s my post on my first appearance, explaining why I’m appearing on a site supporting someone acting contrary to many of my values).

[EDIT: I posted it the next day: See my second appearance on My podcast episode with my mom preempted it.]

In preparing for the appearance, Rob and I got to talking about New York’s lockdown and how the region is handling it. We didn’t talk politics—just about experiences, observations, and predictions. I considered a fair amount of it insightful. (Here’s Rob’s appearance on my podcast).

We talked about handling

  • Solitude
  • Confinement
  • Not being able to get away from partners
  • Losing income
  • Opportunity
  • Reflection
  • Family
  • Much more

If you don’t talk with people with diverse viewpoints, I recommend you start.
