Another big, passionate writing day

Last week I finished the first draft of my next book, though more accurate I finished the most challenging parts. I took a couple days off after a couple days of intense writing, then got back to work.

Regarding the word “work,” here, I talked to a friend who said he wouldn’t want to write because of deadlines and pressure. He sounded like writing sounded like a burden or obligation. I tried to convey that when working on something meaningful, a deadline inspires.

Besides, I’m not writing the book for a hobby or ritual, like meditation. I don’t try to meditate on a deadline, nor do calisthenics on a deadline.

I’m not writing this book for me, though I love writing it. It’s not the goal either. I have a vision and mission in which the book is a strategic or tactical part. The vision and mission are based in love for humanity, this nation, life, nature, and my neighbor as myself.

On another note, I’ve been sharing more of the contents with friends and people in publishing and they give very positive reviews. I can’t wait for it to get out.

Anyway, this evening culminated another couple days of intense writing. Having worked with great editors, I know how much it will benefit from editing with professional editors, but if someone forced me to publish what I have, I think people would love it.

That said, I still have a list of small but meaningful updates I’ll get to soon, but I plan to step away from the book to let things settle and to catch up on the many things I’ve put off the past few weeks or month.
